Washington International Renewable Energy Conference (WIREC 2008). Washington DC, 3-7 Maret 2008

On beharlf of the Board of Directors and Advisors of the American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE), I am writing to encourage your participation in the upcoming Washington International Renewable Energy Conference (WIREC 2008), taking place March 3-7, 2008 in Washington DC. WIREC 2008 has tree parallel parts, each relevant to a different segment of your society :

§  Official Ministerial-level meeting hosted by the U.S. Government, with U.S. State Department in the lead.

§  Official Side Events, for governments and non-profit organizations (NGOs) to promote  their key point of view – these are 90-minute mini-conferences ensuring that every concept can be heard;

§  Trade Show at WIREC 2008 including a full six-track business conference and huge trade show exhibition, where your renewable energy companies can be seen by the world community and immediately build global marketing relationships.

WIREC 2008 is meeting No.3 in what may become a global series of such summits, building on the founding events in Bonn, Germany in 2004, and the second event in Beijing, China in 2005. Such a global meeting will happen only once every three years.

The events is open to all countries, NGOs and companies of the world that seek to advance renewable energy, present their plans, build worldwide  networks of peers, and be recognized for excellence and leadership. ACORE hopes that you, as a recognized leading figure, will attend WIREC and encourage the NGOs and companies in your country to participate.

We urge you to register as the government Delegate with an attending group of  up to ten people at, and then encourage NGOs and companies to register for the Trade Show at WIREC at
