VACANCIES CONSULTANTS FOR OZONE DEPLETION SUBSTANCES PHASE OUT PROJECT
WORLD BANK PROGRAM

VACANCIES

The Ministry of Environment has received funding from the Multilateral Fund of the Montreal Protocol through the World Bank to strengthen national capacity in implementing ozone layer protection program and phase out of Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS). To support the program, the Ministry of Environment invited qualified consultant individual candidates to apply for the following activities/positions:

Consultant for Review of existing policies and regulations on CFC uses and import of CFC containing product and registration and de-registration on MDI products (Code MDI-1);

Consultant for Development of MDI guidance book for asthma patients (Code MDI-2);

3

Consultant for Development on treatment guidelines on advantages and drawback on different forms of therapy and recommendations for CFC free MDI applications (Code MDI-3);

4

Consultant for Review MDS supply and demand in Indonesia (Code MDI-4)

The requirements for the consultants are as follows:

GENERAL

Education

Bachelor Degree (S1)

Experience

Minimum 10 (ten) years experience in relevant subject of activities;

Skills

o Has good verbal and written communication skill, with analytic capacity and ability to synthesize project outputs and relevant findings for the preparation of quality project reports;

o Maturity and confidence in dealing with senior level officials of national and international institutions;

o Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc);

o Ability to travel extensively and at short notice;

o Fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia

SPECIFIC

o Knowledge on ODS use in MDI sector is an advantage

o Proven experience in developing and/ or reviewing drugs related regulation (MDI-1)

o Proven experience in treating COPD (Chronic Obstructing Pulmonary Disease) using various types of therapy (MDI-2 and MDI-3)

o Provent experience in dealing with supply and demand issues drug distribution (MDI-4);
